Hike for Safe Drinking Water for Everyone, Forever October 27th

Did you know that 2.1 billion people around the world still don't have access to safe water, and 4.5 billion lack access to adequate sanitation? Well, Water For People is working to reach Everyone Forever by promoting the development of high-quality drinking water and sanitation services, accessible to all, and sustained by strong communities, businesses and governments.

To help this cause, please join us for the DC Water For People Committee's annual hike fundraiser on Sunday, October 27, 2019! We'll be heading to Rock Creek Park for a 4-mile hike in the woods (still shorter than most women and children have to walk to fetch their water each day!). We will have coffee and pastries before, and a light lunch after. Test your water trivia knowledge for a chance to win great prizes.  Click here for flyer.
