August 25-26, 2020: online only, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
This free training is made possible through the collaboration of the American Water Works Association (AWWA), the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), and the Partnership for Safe Water. Topics covered include an in-depth introduction to water loss control, how to conduct a preliminary self-assessment, how to apply for USDA funding, and where to go for additional assistance. We are applying for six hours of continuing education for Maryland and Delaware licenses.
After registering you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the training.
Correction: the dates for this training were mistakenly published by email as August 5th and 6th. The training will take place August 25th and 26th. We apologize for any confusion this error may have caused.
Over the past several years, AWWA has been awarded grant funding to conduct training for small systems (less than 10,000 people served).
Annual training sessions will be provided free of charge by the Chesapeake Section, on Compliance with the Safe Drinking Water Act, optimizing your water system, and applying for loans and grants with USDA.
